AUTO SEVEN 7 LTD - VEHICLE SALES TERMS & CONDITIONS

By purchasing a vehicle from Auto Seven 7 Ltd, the buyer acknowledges and agrees to the following terms and conditions:

1. Intended Use of Vehicle

The buyer must inform Auto Seven 7 Ltd prior to purchase if the vehicle is intended to be used for:

  • Private Hire (Taxi/PHV)
  • Hackney Carriage
  • Driving School Tuition
  • Courier or Delivery Services
  • Motorsport, Racing, Track Days, Competitive Events, or Time Trials
  • Any Commercial Use outside normal private domestic motoring

Unless expressly agreed in writing by Auto Seven 7 Ltd prior to sale, all vehicles are sold for normal private road use only.

Any warranty provided, whether complimentary or purchased separately, may be invalidated if the vehicle is subsequently used for any of the purposes listed above without prior written agreement.

2. Vehicle Modifications

The buyer acknowledges that any modifications carried out after the point of sale are entirely at their own risk.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Engine remapping or tuning
  • ECU modifications
  • Exhaust modifications
  • Suspension alterations
  • Wheel and tyre modifications
  • Air intake modifications
  • Body modifications
  • Electrical modifications

Auto Seven 7 Ltd accepts no responsibility for any faults, failures, damage, or consequential losses arising from modifications carried out after purchase.

Any warranty cover may be reduced, restricted, or invalidated where modifications contribute to a fault or failure.

3. Motorsport and Track Use

Vehicles sold by Auto Seven 7 Ltd are not sold, prepared, tested, or warranted for motorsport use.

Any use of the vehicle for:

  • Racing
  • Track days
  • Performance testing
  • Drifting
  • Timed events
  • Competitive driving
  • Driver training events

shall immediately invalidate any warranty or goodwill support provided by Auto Seven 7 Ltd.

4. Aftermarket Equipment Disclaimer

Auto Seven 7 Ltd does not accept any responsibility for the functionality, reliability, operation, connectivity, compatibility, or ongoing performance of any aftermarket devices fitted to the vehicle, including but not limited to:

  • Ghost alarms
  • Tracking systems
  • Dash cameras
  • Aftermarket radios or media systems
  • Parking camera systems
  • Amplifiers and audio equipment
  • Bluetooth devices
  • Security systems
  • Any other non-factory-installed equipment

These devices were fitted prior to our ownership of the vehicle, and as such we cannot verify their installation quality, condition, or ongoing performance.

Any codes, manuals, supporting documentation, or information supplied to Auto Seven 7 Ltd in relation to such equipment will be passed to the buyer where available.

The buyer accepts responsibility for the operation, maintenance, support, and repair of any aftermarket equipment fitted to the vehicle.

5. Warranty Terms

Any complimentary warranty, dealer warranty, or extended warranty supplied with the vehicle is subject to the specific terms, conditions, exclusions, claim limits, servicing requirements, and procedures of the warranty provider.

Warranty cover is intended as an additional benefit and does not replace, restrict, or remove any statutory rights available to the buyer under applicable consumer legislation.

The buyer is responsible for familiarising themselves with the warranty documentation supplied and ensuring that all servicing and maintenance requirements are complied with in order to maintain warranty eligibility.

Failure to maintain the vehicle in accordance with manufacturer recommendations or warranty requirements may result in warranty claims being declined.

6. Consumer Rights

Nothing within these terms and conditions is intended to exclude or restrict any rights that the buyer may have under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any other applicable consumer protection legislation.

Where a concern arises, Auto Seven 7 Ltd must be given a reasonable opportunity to inspect, diagnose, and where appropriate repair the vehicle before alternative remedies are sought.

7. Complaints Procedure

Should the buyer wish to raise a complaint regarding a vehicle purchased from Auto Seven 7 Ltd, the complaint must be submitted in writing via email to:

The complaint should include:

  • Vehicle registration number
  • Date of purchase
  • Current mileage
  • Full details of the concern
  • Supporting photographs, videos, invoices, or diagnostic reports where applicable

Auto Seven 7 Ltd may be unable to investigate or respond to complaints that are not submitted in writing.

The buyer must provide Auto Seven 7 Ltd with a reasonable opportunity to review and investigate any complaint before arranging repairs or commencing any third-party action.

8. No Unauthorised Repairs

The buyer agrees not to authorise repairs, dismantling, diagnostics, modifications, or replacement parts by a third party without obtaining prior written approval from Auto Seven 7 Ltd where a claim or complaint is being made.

Auto Seven 7 Ltd reserves the right to refuse reimbursement, liability, or contribution towards any costs incurred without prior written authorisation.

9. Vehicle Condition and Inspection

The buyer confirms that they have been given the opportunity to inspect the vehicle, review its condition, undertake a test drive where requested, and ask any questions prior to purchase.

As a used vehicle, reasonable wear and tear consistent with the vehicle's age, mileage, and value should be expected.

10. Acceptance of Terms

By proceeding with the purchase of the vehicle, the buyer confirms that they have:

  • Read and understood these terms and conditions.
  • Had the opportunity to ask questions before purchase.
  • Accepted the vehicle in its current condition, subject to any written agreements made at the point of sale.
  • Accepted and agreed to these terms and conditions in full.
